Is the housing crisis over or is the monster hiding under the bed?

It’s a fair question to be asked. Nationwide numbers are telling us that we are working our way out of the housing crisis. The recession is over and future good times will be had by all……

 

Here’s some numbers that make you step back and reevaluate state of the housing market….at least from a Florida perspective. 1 in 8, or 12.74% of the state of Florida mortgages went into foreclosure in the 3rd quarter of 2009. Florida led the nation in the percentage of foreclosures.  The average percent of homes in foreclosure nationally is 4.5 percent.

 

It seems that we are still going to see prices continue to drop in our state as long as the foreclosure properties continue to flood the market. The time to sell is now if you have selling in your plans. Price it properly and it will sell! If we can help you, please let us know. We’re standing by for your call!
